Sweet Wisdom: Proverbs 24

Scripture: Proverbs 24: 14

Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul;

if you find it, there is a future hope for you,

and your hope will not be cut off.

Observation:

Seek wisdom, as it will comfort you and guide you to a good future.

Application:

I think God wants us to grow in wisdom and understanding and, in so doing, our perspective on things will change. What we think we need for joy will likely change and, once that happens, our joy will grow.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for offering your wisdom so freely to those who pursue it. Please guide me in continuing to listen to you and in continuing to read your Word. Help me to hear what you have for me each day and help me to apply it well. I want that sweet, sweet wisdom.

And, Lord, for those who are struggling and frustrated: Please guide them in finding a way to visit with you daily. Lead them to time alone with you in prayer and reading. Show them a path in an undeniable way and encourage them to follow it. If you can use me in helping those who need that help then, Lord, show me what to do. Guide me in being a guide.

Thank you for being so loving and wanting to share your wisdom with each of us.
