So this is my first blog party and if you’re joining me from the Ultimate Blog Party 2009, I’m especially glad you’ve come to join in the fun. (If you haven’t, of course I am glad you are here, too. )
I’m Amy, your hostess here at MomsToolbox.
What is Mom’s Toolbox exactly?
Ooohh. Tough question. I’ll try my best to answer.
Here you can listen in almost daily on my daily prayer and devotional time with God through my SOAP posts. Here are some examples of a few:
My Newest Journey (and first SOAP post)
I Love Being a Homemaker, Thank God
And you can also join in on my journey to be better at all the hats I wear: Wife, Mom to 3 little ones, Friend, Daughter… you get the picture. Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes, well… not so much.
I’m still learning my way through the kitchen with adventures like the disasterous blueberry loaf, which was followed by a few successes, and other experiences leading to unlock a secret to juicy meat and simple ways to super fun birthday cakes for Indiana Jones and Princess parties.
I write about some of our traveling adventures (And give you tips to manage yours), our decorating adventures and my constant battle to manage the clutter and muffin top.
And sometimes, since I know there are lots of super-clever moms out there, I’m looking for your help in getting my little projects done.
I’m also in the midst of training for a big bike ride (180 miles in 2 days!) to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. So until April 18, if you log on, you might read about my cycling adventures, which typically include lots of prayer time as well. Here’s my overview from last year’s ride, which was my first time.
This is just a quick taste of what you might find here, but, please, click around and explore for yourself. I hope you’ll like what you read and will want to return and maybe subscribe.
Or maybe even follow me on Twitter, where you can get more than just the blog posts– you can also hear my mini-adventures and thoughts throughout the day.
Before you go, don’t forget to claim your party favor: A Bible reading bookmark. If you’d like this quarter’s Bible reading schedule on a handy bookmark to help you read through the Bible in a year, send me an email using the link at the top left. I just need your mailing address and I’ll pop one in the mail to you. (Don’t worry. I won’t keep the address for anything else. I promise.)
Again, thanks for stopping by. Please use the comment space below to let me know what you think. I’d love to know.
