WooooooHOOOOOOO! What a DAY!

We are here, at DAY 40 of the New Testament in 40 Days, friends!

Our reading today is Revelation 18-22.

And wow, what a reading it is!

Today’s reading doesn’t take long to read, so I hope you will take the extra time to soak it in, to think about all we have read and perhaps to spend time thinking about it, talking to the Holy Spirit and perhaps journaling about it. That’s when the really good stuff happens.

There has been a lot to take in. For some of you this may have been your first reading of the full New Testament, for some of you it may have been the first time to read it all back to back and for some of you it might have been your seventeenth. I do hope and pray that, for all of you, you heard whispers of something meaningful and perhaps more than whispers, too.

I sure did.

Some I heard as they leapt off the pages of my Bible, some I heard as I journaled and some I heard through conversations with some of you.

I am so grateful to each of you reading with me. You encourage me more than you will ever know. Just knowing you are there means SO SO much. Thank you for that.

I’d love to know that you finished reading the New Testament with us… whether that is today, or over the weekend, or this coming week. Whenever you finish, will you do me a favor, and drop a note in the comments letting me know you finished? Knowing you made it to the finish just warms my heart.

I’m still trying to decide what reading to host next. Do we go and do the Old Testament? Part of the Old Testament? I’m not sure just yet.

When I know, I’ll post here and on the MomsToolbox Facebook page.

    Hi Amy!
    I finished! Wow, what a journey it was. There were so many days when the Holy Spirit allowed me the privilege of sharing something I had just read that morning. Praise God, it IS so good to be IN the Word of God on a daily basis. Thank you for organizing this. I can’t wait for what’s up next. God bless you!!!

    I am finished. I was behind this week and one night I could not sleep and decided to just read and it helped catch me up so I could finish on time according to your schedule. I had never read through the Book of Revelation before. There was so much that was in that book I decided to start a podcast Bible Study if that book to help me understand it better. I really enjoyed reading the NT! My friend and I did it together and had some texting conversations going at times, discussing things we read. Thank you so much for organizing!!
