Good morning sweet friends and Happy New Year to you!!!
I am so glad you are here and I am so glad you are reading the Bible with me! By the end of this week, we will have read through all 4 of the gospels AND we will have made our way deep into Acts…. and the new year as just begun. Isn’t that exciting?
This past week, much like the previous week, I kept seeing confirmation that the Lord wants me to go to Him for guidance. It was everywhere:
- Ask, Seek, Knock.
- Be persistent.
- True faith has amazing power.
I need His guidance, I WANT His guidance. In planning and goal-setting and fresh-start taking of the new year, I want the Holy Spirit to guide me. I look back at 2020 and see His grace and provision all over it, and I am so grateful. For 2021, I want my goals and dreams to align with His. I want to do what He knows I can and should and I want to use the gifts He has already given me to do His will with my family, with my business, and right here, too.
I am asking. I am seeking, I am knocking. I will be persistent. And I will be expectant.
What about you?
Did you see the same thing last week in the reading? Or did something else grab you? And, if nothing really got you, what do you think about asking, seeking, knocking and being persistent? Do you have any thoughts or stories to share on that? I’d love to hear them, if so.
Week 23 Reading Schedule
Like I said, we’ll be deep into Acts by this time next week. I LOOOOVE reading the New Testament right after the Old at this pace. It’s so beautiful to see the fulfillment of what we read just weeks ago, while it is still fresh. I hope you feel the same way and are blessed by this.
Please do leave a note in the comments to let me know you are here, reading with us. Your comments encourage me as well as the other readers in our community, too.
Thanks so much for being here. And, again, Happy New Year, sweet friend!
In love,
